JAL will replace a range of legacy systems with the IBS ICargo Terminal Operations for Japan, a workhorse that manages the complete import, export, transportation, warehousing, and network airport operations cycle.

JAL will also benefit from substantial improvements in efficiency via the iCargo solution, along with significant savings on legacy system maintenance costs.

iCargo has full Japanese customs reporting capabilities, being the industry leader in Japan, with the only non-Japanese program on this market today. The fact that operational data is made available via iCargo in real time also helps to create successful intelligence to understand.

iCargo is a built-in system that supports end-to-end business functions such as cargo booking, ranking, manifesting, import and export operations, warehouse management, profit accounting, mail handling, and cargo carrier and ground handler revenue management.

iCargo complies with global industry standards and programs such as the Cargo iQ, C-XML, OneRecord, e-AWB and e-Freight in general, adopting best practices for the cargo industry.
