SABAH:

The government of Sabah has allowed several other industries to operate under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) from yesterday.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said domestic tourism, cultural, sports, and recreational, as well as professional services are now allowed to operate.

He has added some domestic tourism (Sabah only) which includes all the operations in the hotel, with the exception of facilities including praying rooms, meeting rooms, seminar rooms, training rooms, and buffets.

"Arts and crafts, visuals, traditional clothing, music, dance, and research and cultural education can be carried out  (only less than 10 persons a session).

“In addition, recreational and environmental research activities, as well as services offered by Sabah parks and sanctuaries, issuance of permits for harvesting bird's nests and license for wildlife, can now resume operations,” he said in a statement.

Sport and leisure activities have been approved, according to Mohd Shafie, to include individual sports training, golf, shooting, lawn bowling, while group recreational activities and sports should not include more than 10 people at one time.

Operations may also be resumed by professional service, airline companies, and premises selling motorized vehicles, heavy machinery, and bicycles.

"All of these sectors must comply with the SOP set by the Minister of Health and the related authorities," he said.
