HO CHI MINH :

On Sunday at the Vietnam History Museum in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai (traditional long-dress) Festival started with numerous exquisite collections of popular artists on display.

The purpose of this event was to honor traditional cultural values and the love of Ao Dai – the intangible cultural heritage of the nation. The 11th Party Congress for 2020-2025 is particularly welcome as part of the activities.

In addition to the iconic Ao Dai, HCM City tourist attractions and people are expected to bring domestic and foreign friends to the festival.

The 14 local designers, including Nguyen Tuan, Viet Hung, Vo Viet Chung, Ella Phan, Tuan Hai, Nhat Dung, and Do Trinh Hoai Nam, were participating in this year's event.

In 2014the HCM City Ao Dai Festival was launched as a major cultural and tourism event. It was also a key product for tourism listed as a tourism growth strategy studied by HCM City and developed by 2030.
