KUALA LUMPUR:

Registration for a further two-year term of Malindo Airways Sdn Bhd's IOSA (Operational Health Audit) has been renewed from yesterday until 3 June 2022.

The chief executive officer Captain Mustafa Bakri said the auditing procedures are accredited for the second time for compliance with the Operational Health Auditor (IOSA) of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

The certification is a valuable affirmation of safety for Malindo Air as it aligns the airline with the best worldwide practice for safety.

"It (certificate) assists in ensuring that our ongoing operational control and management processes comply with IATA guidelines, regulatory criteria, and best practices in industries.

"This makes Malindo Air equal to the requirements of the international aviation industry," he said in a statement.

IOSA is an internationally recognised and approved evaluation system designed to access an airline's operational control systems that occur after the airline performs its first audit every two years successfully.
