Teluk Muroh jetty, Marina Island is closed from 18 March for the public until 31 March after Movement Control Order (MCO) compliance. Zulhisham Ahmad Shukori District Officer in Manjung claimed that the jetty will open only for government agencies such as the Ministry of Health for emergencies as it is the shortest way to go to Pangkor Island.

However, the chairman of the District Disaster Management Committee of the Manjung District said that the Lumut Jetty is open to the general public and that any changes will be announced.

In his statement, he said the public, in particular residents of the Island of Pangkor, must adhere to the MCO that came into force to curb the spread of COVID-19.
