PUTRAJAYA :

The Masjid Putra, closed since Sunday to foreign tourists with concerns regarding coronavirus outbreak, was opened again around 2 pm yesterday.

Management Spokesman of the Mosque said that officials of the Mosque should consider the health ministry guidelines as protection against coronaviruses.

"The Masjid Putra has previously been closed because of concerns regarding the safety of mosque officials as we received a large number of foreign visitors on a daily basis.

"Officers will begin today by following the advice of the Ministry of Health on the use of nose and mouth masks and manual sanitizers," he said.
