Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Bhd (BMD) announced the cancellation of the Palm and Lauric Oils Price Outlook Conference & Exhibition (POC) due to the uncertain surrounding of the Covid-19 pandemic. The conference was initially scheduled to take place on June 22-24, 2020.

Datuk Muhamad Umar Swift, Chairman of the BMD said that the decision had been taken regarding the health and safety of the participants.

"We have to cancel the POC in this year with great regret. We have been closely monitoring and assessed that, because of the risks of the global pandemic, this is the most suitable way of proceeding.

"We are incredibly thankful that our participants, sponsors, and supporters have continued to show their support," he said in a statement.
