Singapore airlines will automatically extend the membership status for 12 months

By the end of their respective membership year, Singapore Airlines will automatically extend all membership statuses of KrisFlyer Elite and PPS Club for an additional 12 months. The CEO of Singapore Airlines, Goh Choon Phong, said the deal covers all memberships from March 2020 until February 2021,in an announcement sent to KrisFlyer members.

Any PPS and Elite Gold Rewards that expires will be extended until 31 March 2021.

According to the airline, flight credits for unused sections of cancelations tickets will be available every time between now and 31 March 2021 for new reservations. SIA waived no-show and reservation charges as well.

More than 12 months in which many other airlines still permit elite flyers to preserve their status.

Qantas also allows frequent flyers of Silver, Gold, Platinum and Platinum One to maintain their status until 2022.

Effective March 2020 to February 2021, Qantas Frequent Flyers with anniversaries of their membership will maintain their current status automatically for a period of 12 months to come.
