PUTRAJAYA::

Inspired to encourage Malaysians to stay positive while observing the Movement Control Order (MCO) at home, Tourism Malaysia under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture is proud to organise a Tourism Music Video Contest within the MCO period from 18 until 28 April 2020.

This contest offers a unique opportunity for Malaysians to unleash their creativity in promoting Malaysian tourism from the comforts of their homes. Participants can enter as individuals or in groups where they have the options to sing, play musical instruments or perform a short sketch. However, each music video made must include either the ‘Cuti-Cuti Malaysia’ song or the ‘Visit Truly Asia Malaysia’ song which can be downloaded from Tourism Malaysia’s official website.

The contest is open to all Malaysians for free which aims to encourage citizens to take part in promoting tourism in Malaysia using social media.

Top three winners will walk away with exciting full-board tour packages for 3 Days and 2 Nights which include flight tickets, accommodations, transfers and tours. The winners will get to decide and pick their destination of choice within Malaysia.

"Realising the current MCO, we would like to invite Malaysians to showcase their masterpiece by creating this platform. While promoting Malaysia, participants also get to demonstrate their talents and creativity utilising a digital platform which has wider coverage ,” said YB Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri, the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture in support of the contest.

More information on the video contest including the terms and conditions are available on Tourism Malaysia’s official website at https://www.malaysia.travel/en/my.
