A lot of flights are rescheduled and cancelled due to prolonged haze in Malaysia

Due to the prolonged haze in Malaysia, a lot of flights are reschedule and cancelled at the same time. The flights to Singapore and Johar Baru scheduled to depart from Ipoh’s Sultan Azlan Shah Airport on Thursday I.e September 20 has been cancelled.
 
Mohd Ali Osman, Airport manager to Ipoh’s Sultan Azlan Shah Airport said that the cancelled flights involved are from Singapore-Ipoh-Johar Baru route operated by AirAsia, also the Ipoh-Johar Baru-Ipoh route operated by Milindo and the Singapore-Ipoh-Singapore route operated by Flyscoot.
 
When contacted by New’s agencies, Mohd Ali Osman said” Two flights have been cancelled this morning since 9:45 AM.
 
Passenger are really off the scheduled with the delayed flights and one of the affected passengers on interaction with the media told that the flight delays have really caused a lot of hassle into their entire planned schedule.
 
He said” I was supposed to board the Milindo flight to Johar Baru at 1:25 today and then it got cancelled. At 8AM, I received a message saying the flight has been again cancelled on Thursday and then I came to take the replacement ticket to the airport for the next flight.
