The Matang Wildlife Centre will temporarily cease its wildlife sighting for 6 months, from January 1 to June 30, 2020
This is to ease repair and maintenance works on the Centre’s infrastructure.
However, other park facilities such as accommodations and picnic areas will remain open for visitors as usual.
For those who are looking for an alternative attraction to see the Orangutans, Semenggoh Wildlife Centre would be the next great stop.
Just 20 kilometers south of Kuching, Semenggoh Wildlife Centre is by far the biggest Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre in Sarawak.
