After the Collapse of Thomas Cook, Malaysia Airline to the globe traveler rescue

This week UK’s Thomas Cook travel agency saw a spectacular collapse and now Malaysia Airline is helping to rescue the travellers left stranded into the entire. The Malaysian flag carrier quickly deployed one of its Airbus A380s to assist in bringing the air travellers back abroad and disruptive travel plans for an estimated six hundred thousand people.

According to Manchester Evening News, the Authorities impounded the first Thomas Cook plane at 11:59 PM yesterday and early today the Malaysian Airline A380 left Manchester seeming bound for Malaysia to rescue stranded passengers of Thomas cook under the project named “Project Matterhorn”. 

Thomas Cook finally collapsed yesterday after over a year of financial trouble longing from a long time and a disastrous merger back in 2007. The firm had been gradually reducing its operation outside the UK as it faced increasing competition and technological disruptions brought by online challengers.

 

Thomas Cook was founded in 1841 and was the world’s oldest travel firm. The firm originally runs hotels, resorts and Airlines for 19 million people a year in 16 countries.Other airlines involved in the repatriation process are British Airways, Euro Atlantic, HiFly, Wamos, Virgin Atlantic, EasyJet, NileAir, Evelop, Atlas, Freebird, Danish Air Transport, Titan Airways and Miami Air.
