Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas by Anantara Hotels has opened its luxury hotel in Malaysia. It is located along a pristine 17-kilometer beachfront facing the South China Sea, in a new high-end resort development that offers a range of luxury accommodation nestled in lush tropical gardens.
It is near Iskandar Malaysia and is easily accessible via a 45-minute drive from Malaysia’s Senai International Airport and a two-hour drive from Singapore. Additionally, visitors from Singapore can travel to Desaru Coast by ferry, followed by a short drive.
The property is ready to welcome discerning travelers to the golden shores of the country’s south-eastern coastline with authentic luxury and indigenous-inspired hospitality.
The 108 key resort comprises of 90 tastefully decorated en-suite deluxe rooms in low-rise traditional Malay buildings that overlook the gardens, lagoon, and ocean. Apparently the resort has 123 rooms with 90 rooms reserved and designed for deluxe guest room in a low rise building providing the view of ocean, garden and lagoon whereas the rest of the rooms are divided into 13 standalone luxury ones and two-bedroom pool facing villa and the rest are expensive 3 and 4 bedroom residencies providing utmost privacy full kitchen, chef and butler service, and an infinity pool.
They are adorned with indigenous materials and fabrics, such as woven textiles, renowned Malaysian wicker elements and silhouettes of traditional Malay crafts.
