SABAH:

Datuk Osman Jamal, Balung Assemblyman indicated that Tawau would take precedence in the organization of training courses in line with the services sector, particularly on tourism. The district is beautiful and distinctive not only in nature but in the variety of food from different races and religions.

"We want to stop by at least 40 percent of foreigners landing at Tawau airport and visit our area before leaving for Semporna.

Therefore, we hope that entrepreneurs, such as traditional ethnic cakes, will develop their skills and product quality to increase their appeal, "he said.

This was said here on Friday when Osman officiated several training courses at the hotel, including Make-up & Eyelash Extension Course,cake-making, decoration course, and Bun Making Course. These five days' course was organized by Human Resources Development department. He hoped the Department will further conduct courses that will involve male participants as well. Also appealed to increase the duration of the course.
