HoHo buses are added to 6 more stops

Perak Hop-On Hop-Off (HoHo) tour bus service will add six more stops from November 23.

Exco Tourism, Arts and Culture Exco Tan Kar Hing said the new locations include Lost World of Tambun, Bali Tambun Lagoon, Sam Poh Tong Cave, Gopeng Town, Kellie's Castle and Silveritage Gopeng Field.

He said the addition of the six locations would make the entire HoHo bus stop a total of 18 locations.

"The state government is aware of the surge in the tourism industry in the state and this effort will not be stopped. Therefore, we are expanding HoHo's bus service.

"We hope the new location services will enable tourists to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area of ??Ipoh," he said after opening the HoHo Bus Out Circut Launching at the Main Stage, Perak International Expo (PIEX) at the Royal Embassy Stadium.

Meanwhile, Kar Hing said since the start of operations March 23, 3,053 tourists had used the HoHo bus service.

He said tourists using the service would also receive information from trained tour guides throughout their journey to these locations.

He said a total of three buses were provided for the service at six times the daily commute.

"For the introduction of this new location, we are introducing a promotional price for an unlimited day trip for locals RM12 for adults while RM10 for children, the disabled (disabled) and the elderly.

"For the unlimited two-day trip for local adults, it costs RM20 while children, the disabled and the elderly pay only RM10. This promotion period runs until the end of the year," he said.

Meanwhile, Kar Hing said in addition to local tourists, HoHo buses were used by foreign tourists from Japan, China, Indonesia and Singapore.
