Are you someone who is always baffled by short of the shortest slides and have always craved more time splurging into it? The struggle is real, climbing up to the slides and making your way through the crowd where everyone is struggling to get themselves through the entryway is much of a hassle and once we get through it, the next moment we know is the slide ride is done and dusted. For all the effort that had been invested seems to be shaken with the termination of the ride.
Yes, we all have surpassed this situation and is incredibly relatable for all of us, I believe. Here’s a good news for all the water slide lovers as Malaysia is now all set and have recently introduced the longest ride snakes stretching 1,111metres (3,645 feet) at Penang’s ESCAPE theme park which is said to have smashed the previous record for worlds longest tube water slide by a theme park named Action Park in Vernon, New Jersey.
However in both the water parks the manufacturing of slides are different.The New Jersey park has inflatable water slides whereas Penang’s ESCAPE slide is said to be made of fiber-reinforced polymer which happens to be a permanent structure attached to steel poles.
Sim Choo Kheng, CEO of ESCAPE operator sim leisure group said in a statement that “ Breaking the world record was never our intention”
He added “I’m always baffled by how rides are made so short and quick. I wanted to build rides that last a good few minutes”.
The entire slide offers a massive four minute worth of ride taking through the scenic beauty of the jungle. The visitors will access the slide through a cable car chair lift to avoid all the hustle to get their, in the first place.
