NEPAL:

Nepalese authorities have decided to resume flights to six more countries with a large number of Nepali migrant workers, including Japan and Malaysia.

The decision was made on Saturday during a meeting of the COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee, which was chaired by Nepal's Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, according to Taranath Adhikari, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation's spokesperson.

Flights to Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, and Malaysia will begin in the coming days, making travel easier for job seekers. However, flights will be resumed in such a way that no more than 2000 people from a single country will arrive in Nepal within a week.

It is unclear whether these countries will accept passengers from Nepal. Many of them have already begun to consider granting visas based on vaccination.
