Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) got together with the organisers of the Asia Pacific Regional Rotaract Conference (APRRC) 2020 to offer the delegates the best of Penang’s Experiences Unfiltered. The conference is scheduled to be held from 3 – 6 September at The Wembley, Penang.

The annual APRRC is the largest Rotaract event to promote cultural exchange. This will be the second time the conference will be held in Malaysia but Penang is hosting it for the first time. The bid to host the conference in Penang was won by the Rotaract District 3300 (Malaysia) and the event expects to attract 600 participants from various countries from the Asia Pacific region.

YB Yeoh Soon Hin, who chaired the press conference at KOMTAR here in George Town, Penang said “As delegates of this conference will come from across the Asia Pacific Region, we look forward to indulging all delegates in the best that Penang has to offer; from its amazing food to our world-class hospitality. Penang, being a state with a proud number of UNESCO heritage sites, would also serve to allow delegates to explore the many wonders that we have to offer,”.

Rotaract conducts many activities, which are mostly of charitable purposes, providing young individuals a chance to 'give something back' to the society. Rotaract also serves the purpose to enhance one's personal development. At the same time addressing the physical and social needs of their communities while promoting better network between all people worldwide through service - 'fellowship through service'.
