'Retro Havoc' and 'Reach Out World Wide' to join Visit Malaysia 2020 Campaign

Tourism Malaysia announced the collaboration of 2 organisers I.e Retro Havoc and Reach Out World Wide (ROWW) who have joined hands to host a car show featuring DRIVE 4 PAUL which will be an international charity fundraiser event scheduled for 12th October 2019 in Bandar Malaysia.

The news was announced at a press conference which marked the presence of Datuk Musa Yusof, Director General of Tourism Malaysia with celebrity Cody Walker and Dato’ Madani Sahari, CEO of Malaysia Automotive Robotic and IoT Institute (MARii).

DRIVE 4 PAUL is on its sixth edition started off from 2014 taking off in Retro Havoc Malaysia’s platform considered as a celebrated car show event. Retro Havoc being the predominant organiser Invited ROWW and Cody Walker- brother if late Paul Walker from the famously known Fast and Furious sequel who joined force and was invited to be a part of Charity fundraising, ticket sale, registration fees, merchandise and F&B sales will all compile up to the funds.

Late film star Paul Walker has founded ROWW which is the US-registered non-profit foundation established to respond international in case of natural disaster ranging from earthquakes to hurricanes.

A full one-day charity event schedule fir 12th October will have luncheon associated with it along with special convoy ride to Sepang Circuit on the next day of 13th October for all the registered participants along with a trip to beautiful Langkawi.

The event will gather more than 420 vintage and classic cars in one venue with a minimal entry charge of RM10. International participates from ASEAN as well as car enthusiasts and restorers from around the world are expected to mark their presence and join the funfair car event.  Among the cars displayed were some of the Fast and Furious replicas of skyline R34, Ford Escort MK1, Subaru V10 and many more.

Datuk Musa said that this fundraiser event is a good effort taken when Visit Malaysia 2020 is just around the corner and to fill the 2019 motor ship calendar.  He added, “We will have Malaysian GP from 1 to 3 November 2019, and hottest newcomers FIA World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) with the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) from 14 to 15 December,”.
