Sabah ministry committed to developing sports tourism

As part of efforts to boost the state’s tourism industry, the Tourism, Culture and Environment Ministry is promoting sports tourism in Sabah.

Deputy Chief Minister cum Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew who was at the closing of the Tripartite Bar Games 2019 and Gala Dinner held at the Marriott Hotel on Saturday said such an event establishes a platform for promoting Sabah’s tourist hotspots and showcase the State’s colorful cultural heritage to first-time visitors. Chief Judge of Sabah and Sarawak Tan Sri David Wong, was also present at the event.

The Tripatite Bar Games 2019 covered 11 different games, namely badminton, bowling, basketball, cross country race, darts, e-sports, football, golf, ladies futsal, pool and table tennis.
