SIKKIM:

Sikkim will reopen its doors to tourists on July 5, when inter-state travel will be permitted. Relaxation is permitted for people who have been properly vaccinated and have submitted an RT-PCR negative report at the Melli and Rangpo checkpoints.

The exemption is valid until July 12th.

According to the new criteria, COVID-19 regulations will allow all hotels, guest houses, and home stays to operate at 50% capacity. COVID-19 procedures will be allowed to be used in malls and showrooms.

Passengers embarking or returning from Pakyong or Bagdogra airports, as well as the New Jalpaiguri Railway station in West Bengal, will be allowed to travel only if they have journey tickets and a negative RT-PC.

All state government offices, including PSUs, various boards, and corporations, will have 100 percent attendance with staff who have taken both doses of the COVID19 vaccination. Other staff may be allowed to follow the current 50 percent attendance policy.

Factory, production units, and commercial establishments have all been granted similar exemptions.

The odd-even stipulation applies to all vehicles, including private cars, taxis, and two-wheelers. All two-wheelers will now allow pillion riders.
