Singapore Tourism and Trip.com forge a three-year deal

SINGAPORE:

A three-year agreement was signed by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and Trip.com Group to promote Singapore as the chosen destination for travellers as well as to enhance the experience of tourism.

Besides, Trip.com Group announced the establishment of its International Headquarters (IHQ) in Singapore.

As a leading international online tour operator, and its ability to gain insights into travel behavior and needs from the wider users, STB and the partnering of the Trip.com Group will leverage the rapidly growing worldwide network of the Trip.com Group.

The collaboration will also include many fields of cooperation including product and industry development, marketing and data analysis.

STB and Trip.com are focusing on a series of joint marketing campaigns on many markets as they progress from international travel, aimed at attracting tourists to the city state.

Markets such as China, Hong Kong, South Korea and Thailand will concentrate on the campaigns. These will be introduced in phases based on preparation for travel and the latest travel policies on the respective market.

STB and Trip.com will curate and deliver inspiring and engaging content through various media platforms to showcase Singapore's destination storey and place Singapore as a secure and convincing destination of choice for travellers.
