MALAYSIA:

For 70 years, the Taman Negara fee has not been raised. Therefore on 1 Jan 2020, for children below 12, 13-60 and 15-plus, the state government is to raise the fee from RM1 to RM10.

"Apart from increasing income that would help the State become autonomous, the revision is part of measures for efficiency improvements and tax leakage.

"More money will be made available to people through support and development projects, "said Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, Pahang Menteri Besar.

Wan Rosdy announced that he was very pleased about Pahang's work and achievements, which finally held the government's success in its hands.

Some of the policies being implemented to increase revenue are becoming more attractive to foreign investors and conglomerates, increasing the collection of arrears and implementing taxes that are not burdening.
