Tourism entrepreneurs and companies will be assisted by T-VAC Programme to rebuild the business

Tourism entrepreneurs and companies impacted by the COVID 19 pandemic will be supported by the State of Negeri Sembilan, along with the Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC) and Tourism Productivity Nexus (TPN).

Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said that through the cooperation, TPN Virtual Advisory Clinic offers tips or advice to the affected parties through video conferencing.

The T-VAC program will be able to assist in problem-solving processes, 'Reconstruction of business, access to accurate information and company health details is among the most important factors to help with planning the recovery strategies and plans' he told reporters after the launch of the state-level T-VAC program.

Also present were MPC director-general Datuk Abdul Latif Abu Seman, TPN chairman Uzaidi Udanis, state secretary Datuk Dr. Razali Ab Malik, and State Tourism Board general manager, Muhammad Zahir Mazlan.

Aminuddin, Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Action, said the T-VAC is one of the fields under MPC's on-line business consulting program, which also covers the digital, mechanical, and engineering industries.

"While informing tourism industry companies in that state to take advantage of this initiative, the knowledge and advice available during this T-VAC session would definiteness assist tourism sector operators, improve competitiveness and revive the industry."

T-VAC was launched on May 8 by Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, Tourism, Arts and Culture minister. Negeri Sembilan is after Pahang the second state to join the program.

In the meantime, Aminuddin said that the state government will also identify tourism products to draw tourists to the state including existing rebranded products.
