Tourism Council of Malaysia supports Pemerkasa and urges industry players to use incentives.

MALAYSIA:

 Malaysia Tourism Council president Uzaidi Udanis, expressed his support in regards to the Strategic Program to empower People and Economy(Pemerkasa).

He added that tourism businesses were encouraged to develop, reinvent themselves and adapt to Covid-19 pandemics through scheme Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin unveiled.

'Malaysia Tourism Council (MTC), under Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's leadership, stands solidarity with the government in the planning of the impact of the Covid 19 disruption.

"We must take this opportunity to more creatively reinvent or cook our business products to leverage the incentives that the government has announced so that in this dire situation, we can gain more benefits to help our business better," he said at an online press conference.

He also said that Permerkasa would help revive the sector and economy.
