An online project to help restore the tourism economy in Malaysia is developed by Ab & Artho Tourism Marketing & PR which is supported by the Malaysian hotel association (MAH). According to a tweet, the project is funded by MyRoomPass, a local booking platform partner.
Travel Malaysia e-Fair invites MAH representatives to participate and suggest special room rates and packages (Hot Deals) for a planned sales period from August 7-9.
Travel Malaysia e-Fair is an informal, digital project involving Malaysian hotels under MAH as well as leisure companies, expressing the need to support Malaysian hotel companies and to increase interest in the acquisition of hotel offers for Malaysians.
Curated travel projects are combined with members' hotels, which are encouraged to provide generous discounts for hotel stays, to meet objectives of supporting and encouraging the domestic economy and also to encourage Malaysians and citizens to spend their holidays in the country.
“We encourage Malaysians to take advantage of this promotion as the validity of the RoomPass purchased may be used over a period of one year from date of purchase, depending on terms and conditions of participating hotels,” said MAH President, Halim Merican.
MyRoomPass, the event partner, allows the purchasing of room deals and the reservation of the hotel easy on a dedicated reservation website.
