Vietnam Airlines launches two new routes

 Vietnam Airlines will start two new domestic routes and reopen two more others from 22 July.

A representative from the national flag carrier said on July 13 that the two new routes are Hai Phong - Dien Bien and Da Lat - Phu Quoc Island, while the two to resume are Can Tho - Phu Quoc Island and Da Nang - Van Don.

The route connecting the northern port city of Hai Phong with the northwest mountainous city of Dien Bien will be followed by four return flights a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, departing from Dien Bien at 12:25 p.m. and Hai Phong at 2:10 p.m.

There are 3 flights a week to Da Lat and Phu Quoc Island, on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Can Tho-Phu Quoc Island be operating on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, while on Thursday, Thursday, and Saturday the Da Nang-Van Don will see flights on.

Vietnam Airlines is offering discounted tickets for the new and rebooted routes from the current year until 31 August, from 199,000 VND (USD 8.6) one-way.

The carrier has re-launched 22 routes, connecting localities with tourist destinations, and raising its domestic network to a maximum of 61 routes with almost 500 flights daily during the peak season since May when the COVID-19 pandemic was put under control in Vietnam.

Vietnam Airlines has sterilized its aircraft to ensure the health and safety of passengers and has introduced measures to monitor the health of passengers, as required by the Vietnam Civil Aviation Authority 's rules. On flights, passengers are asked to wear facial masks.
