MACHANG BUBUK:

The Machang Bubuk Community Service Center has collaborated with the Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival to organize Photo Run together with the Rakyat Machang Bubuk Carnival.

The Photo Run activity attracted almost 70 participants from the general public.

The carnival is primarily intended to promote the new village's history and culture to the public so that more young people can understand the new village and explore the characteristics of the new village.

Machang Bubok assemblyman Lee Khai Loon said " this program is organized for the people to appreciate the culture and history of the new village," he said.

"We would encourage the tourist to come to Machang Bubuk if they are at the Mainland to experience the simple Malaysian culture as here the environment is very calm and they can also experience village foods" he added.

Free health checkups, dental checkups, health exhibitions, and free mammogram examinations were held in conjunction with the Penang Sihat Program.

"over the years, many youngsters have moved out from their villages and have not returned to maintain the villages, therefore this is a great way to promote and to bring the young generation to their villages with their skill to rebuild their villages," said Jessica Chan, Director of  Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival.

The event was also supported by Bukit Mertajam Parliament Member YB Steven Sim, MPKK Kampung Baru Machang Bubuk, MPKK Taman Machang Bubuk, Tourist Player Magazine, and has been won by the cooperation of several organizations in this carnival.
