MALAYSIA:

According to new research, 74% of industry experts will invest in Web 3.0 as a marketing tool. Only 3% answered they wouldn't, while the rest are undecided. According to the survey, 36% of respondents are interested in AI and how it may help sell travel, while 14% want to investigate the metaverse's potential to promote their companies.

The study also asked travel tech professionals, "What technology would you adopt in your firm now if you had a magic wand and budget, time and resources were not an issue?" The most popular responses, in addition to novel payment options and seamless omnichannel, were:

"There's been a lot of chat about Web 3.0 and how it's going to change the way brands reach consumers, especially with the potential for AI and machine learning to provide hyper-personalized content and for the Metaverse to reach a younger, more digital-savvy audience," says Ryan Taylor, Event Manager, Northstar Travel Group. Visitors will find technology at the vanguard of this change at the TravelTech Show; technology that is meant to help them build substantially better customer experiences that will increase loyalty, yield, and profitability."

In a little over three weeks, Meta, the owner of Facebook, will speak about Web 3.0 at the day one keynote at TravelTech Show. Karlijn Vogel-Meijer, Head of Industry at Meta, will speak on the role of WhatsApp in the pandemic, the new world of virtual reality, and travel marketing on Instagram and Facebook in his talk titled 'Meta and travel: the future for Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and VR.'

On the 29th and 30th of June, the TravelTech Show will return to its new home at ExCeL London, bringing together hundreds of senior travel and tourism technology experts and over 50 exhibitors for high-level networking and a premium conference agenda. Free seats are offered to eligible travel technology decision-makers from the retail/corporate travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors who register today. The event will be held in conjunction with Business Travel Show Europe and The Meetings Show this year.
