SELANGOR:

Gamuda Cove is set to welcome a fresh wave of attractions that further cement its vision as a thriving nature sanctuary and smart township. In a major announcement, GL Play—Gamuda Land’s leisure and hospitality arm—has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with four key partners: Enfiniti Escapes (M) Sdn. Bhd., One Universal Production Sdn. Bhd. (OUP), Wonderful Wildlife & Recreation Management Sdn. Bhd. (WWRM), and Seven Evernew PLT.

These partnerships will introduce a range of immersive experiences, including a curated wildlife park, two luxury eco-resorts, and a unique indoor children’s play town. The additions will span across key areas of the township, such as the 1,111-acre Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands (PIDW), the nearby 90-acre Wetlands Arboretum, and The Hive — Gamuda Cove’s central leisure hub.

“These developments aren’t standalone attractions,” said Chu Wai Lune, CEO of Gamuda Land. “They are part of a larger narrative of living well, with nature at your doorstep. From our popular SplashMania and Discovery Park to these new offerings, Gamuda Cove aims to cater to all—from adventure seekers and nature lovers to young families.”

Wildlife with a Purpose

In collaboration with WWRM, a new zoo experience is in the pipeline, featuring close to 90 species of mammals, birds, and reptiles — including rare highlights like the Bat-eared Fox and the Black Palm Cockatoo. More than a zoo, this project integrates conservation, education, and animal welfare, with guidance from PERHILITAN (Department of Wildlife and National Parks).

PERHILITAN Deputy Director General, YBhg. Dato’ Hasnan bin Haji Yusop, welcomed the initiative, stating, “This collaboration fosters greater awareness of Malaysia’s biodiversity while adding significant value to eco-tourism and family attractions in Selangor.”

Luxurious Escapes in Nature

Building on the success of Tiarasa Escapes in Janda Baik, Enfiniti Escapes will develop a new eco-luxury resort—Tiarasa Lakeside—bringing its signature blend of serenity, style, and sustainability to Gamuda Cove.

“This isn’t just a stay. It’s a journey into wonder, rest, and reconnection with nature,” said Puan Sri Tiara Jacquelina, founder of Enfiniti Group.

Meanwhile, OUP will revamp existing chalets at PIDW into private Luxury Pool Villas under its new Hadi Premium Collection. With features like private slides, lakefront views, and floating breakfasts, these villas promise a blend of elegance and tranquility for guests.

Imagination Comes Alive for Children

The Hive will soon house TiniTin Town, a 9,000-square-foot indoor play concept for children under 10, created by Seven Evernew PLT. Designed like a miniature themed town, it encourages free play, creativity, and parent-child bonding in a safe, hygienic environment.

“Our vision was to create a place that captures the spirit of outdoor play in a modern indoor setting,” said Dato’ Paduka Tan Say Yap, Director of Seven Evernew.

Creating a Thriving Township Ecosystem

As these attractions open progressively, they are expected to drive footfall, energize Gamuda Cove’s public spaces, and boost commercial activity at Townsquare and the upcoming Cove Centrum retail hub. This is timely, as the township is also gearing up for the debut of ASAI Gamuda Cove hotel in early 2026 — a lifestyle hotel developed in collaboration with Thailand’s Dusit International Group.

Strategically located just off the ELITE Highway and minutes from KLIA, Gamuda Cove continues to evolve as a sustainable, accessible, and inspiring township for both visitors and residents.
