BENGALURU:

Rimigo, a Bengaluru-based travel-tech startup, has successfully raised USD 550,000 in a pre-seed funding round, aiming to transform the way international vacations are planned using artificial intelligence.

The round was co-led by Japan’s Reazon Capital and SGgrow Capital, with participation from notable Indian angel investors including S Ramadorai, Ravi Nigam, Shashank Deshpande, and Ujjwal Jain.

Founded in 2024 by Sahil Sharma, Shubham Chintalwar, and Aditya Shirole, Rimigo leverages AI to create fully customized vacation plans — covering everything from flights and accommodations to food and activities — all tailored to individual preferences and destinations.

“Travel planning today is still fragmented, time-consuming, and impersonal. Rimigo is here to change that with intelligent automation, local insights, and collaborative tools,” said co-founder Sahil Sharma.

The company plans to use the fresh capital for product development, expanding its team, and hiring top-tier talent across travel and technology functions. By combining AI-driven personalization with human expertise, Rimigo aims to bridge the gap between generic travel platforms and the sophisticated expectations of modern travelers.

Since its beta launch, Rimigo has organized over 120 vacations, with 50 trips completed and the remainder at various stages of planning. Buoyed by early user traction and positive referrals, the startup is now preparing for wider market expansion.
