Singapore:

Singapore-based budget airline Scoot, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, has announced the launch of three new direct routes to Southeast Asia, tapping into rising regional tourism demand.

Beginning October 20, Scoot will commence flights to Da Nang, Vietnam, operating three times a week before ramping up to daily services by December. Another Vietnamese coastal destination, Nha Trang, will be added on November 21 with two weekly flights, increasing to five times a week by January 2026.

Scoot will also introduce direct service to Kota Bharu, Malaysia, starting October 26, with flights scheduled twice weekly. Kota Bharu, the capital of Kelantan state, is a key cultural and historical hub in Malaysia.

With these additions, Scoot will operate 115 weekly flights to 12 Malaysian cities and 44 weekly flights to five destinations in Vietnam. The airline has also increased frequencies across other Southeast Asian routes in response to surging travel demand.
