From 22 Jan to 4 Feb 2021, because of the movement control order (MCO) imposed in various States, Genting Malaysia Bhd (GENM) announced that it would temporarily close Resorts World Genting, Resorts World Awana, Resorts World Kijal, and Resorts World Langkawi

The Group also said that Resorts World Birmingham and all other land-based casinos in the UK were temporarily closed until additional notification is issued following the guidelines of the UK government on the retention of COVID-19 spread.

“GENM’s online business continues to operate,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

It added that the operations of GENM are still open in the US and the Bahamas.
