Joint tourism marketing in London with Royal Brunei

Under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Environment, the Sabah Tourism Board (STB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Shared Marketing Collaborative work with Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA).
Noredah Othman STB General Manager signed on behalf of the board, while  Aidel Membara RBA Country Manager UK & Ireland who are based here, signed on behalf of the Airlines at the 2019 World Travel Market (WTM) held at ExCel London's Malaysia Pavilion on Monday.
The inking ceremony was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Christina Liew, Tourism Malaysia Chairman, Datuk Ahmad Shah Hussein Tambakau, Tourism Malaysia Managing Director, Datuk Musa Yusof, and STB Chairman Ken Pan Ying On.
Liew, who is also Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Environment, said that the goal is to provide a structure for cooperation between STB and RBA on the basis of joint benefit in terms of tourism marketing and promotion.
"We are trying to improve the friendly relationship between the Sabah Tourism Board and Royal Brunei Airlines. Both parties are looking forward to enhancing collaboration on marketing and promotion," she said.
The minister leads an eight-member Sabah delegation from her ministry and STB to take part in Excel London's WTM London 2019 here. These include STB Director Datuk Alex Decena, Senior Marketing Manager Josephine Chai, Assistant Marketing Manager (Oceania, UK, Europe, and North America), Daniel Roman, and Helen Muhammari, Private Secretary of Liew.
