CAMBODIA:

Saudi Arabia has expressed a desire to invest in a number of sectors in Cambodia, including oil, energy, agriculture, food, halal food, finance, sports, and tourism.

This intention was stated by Mr. Mohammed Ismaeil A. Dahlwy, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Cambodia, during a working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol, First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, on the afternoon of November 14, 2023.

During the meeting, Mohammed Ismaeil A. Dahlwy informed Sun Chanthol that his current visit to Cambodia is to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The Deputy Prime Minister thanked the Ambassador for his courtesy call and informed him of the work of the Council for the Development of Cambodia as an investment facilitator.

In addition to the above-mentioned sectors, Chanthol pointed out that Saudi Arabia could examine investment opportunities in other sectors, such as the high-tech industry. At the same time, the two countries can explore the possibility of encouraging exchanges of investment visits to attract and help investors from the two countries do business together.
