Tourism Malaysia wins gold

At the 2023 Putra Aria Brand Awards, which were hosted at the One World Hotel in Petaling Jaya, Tourism Malaysia won the gold prize in the Transportation, Travel & Tourism category.
The Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) established the Aria Brand Awards, also known as the People's Choice Awards, in 2022 to recognize the brands that have the strongest emotional bond with Malaysians. Approximately 11,000 respondents willingly took part in the eight-week survey, which took place between September and October 2023.
The Malaysian Digital Association (MDA), the Media Specialists Association (MSA), and the Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA) have all endorsed the award with MATRADE serving as the Brand Champion Partner.
A total of 24 categories compete, each representing a distinct industry such as media, investment and insurance, e-commerce, banking, tourism, cars, and communications. Forty brands receive gold, fifty silver, and sixty bronze awards.
Director-general of Tourism Malaysia, YBh Dato Dr. Ammar Abd Ghapar, stated: "This award is the second consecutive acknowledgment, and it starts the year 2024 on a high note. This accomplishment greatly improves the perception of our brand and surely validates the marketing efforts made by Tourism Malaysia.
In the same category, Tourism Malaysia was recognized for a previous achievement when it won the bronze prize at the 2022 Putra Brand Awards. This esteemed award is a testament to the continuous dedication to excellence in showcasing Malaysia's rich cultural diversity.
