The state government plans to develop tourism package around Marang

The state government plans to develop special tourism packages around the Marang district including the Dataran Batub Putih.

Chairman of the state Tourism, Culture and Information Technology Committee, Ustaz Ariffin Deraman said he was excited about the Dataran Batu Putih has turned it into a village community assisted by the Marang District Office under the supervision of his officer, Tun Ahmad Faisal Tun Abdul Razak.

He said the State Tourism Department has always provided support to develop the tourism industry in the state.

"Last year I came here, got on a boat and followed the plains, there was nothing to do.

"Today (February 7) until tomorrow, various exciting programs are being held here," he said.

He said this to reporters after launching the "Festival Pecah Panggung Dataran Batu Putih".

What is interesting is that he has a floating market with other tourism programs.

These include traditional food products such as Baked Lemon, Cooked Vegetable Pumpkin, Mature Coconut Water, Sweets, and Banana Bread.

Besides, there are also duck hunting competitions, floating markets and more.

"I am confident that the Dataran Batu Putih will have a better response in the future," he said.

According to him, a State Assemblyman (state assemblyman), the State Tourism Department and the Marang District Office are working together to promote the district's tourism products.

"The Tourism Exco has state-of-the-art promotional methods, especially the Dataran Batu Putih.

"We (the state government) plan to have a monthly program, like this day-to-day program at the beginning of the month, which means that when people are already familiar with the White Plains they will come by themselves," he explained.
