MALAYSIA:

Teleport, Group Bhd’s cargo, and logistics platform recently signed a direct interline agreement with Lufthansa Cargo which would authorize Teleport customers to gain access to Lufthansa Cargo space on Lufthansa flights. Teleport expects a long term partnership with air cargo provider Lufthansa Cargo in order to unlock several destinations for both parties' customers.

Teleport is now constantly looking to build direct partnerships with other airlines to enable seamless movement of cargo and e-commerce globally.

To establish a long term partnership, Teleport aims to unlock up more than 300 destinations in 100 countries for Teleport customers and AirAsia’s network of over 150 destinations in Asia Pacific for Lufthansa Cargo customers.

According to the Teleport CEO Pete Chareonwongsak, he said that the partnership will provide global outreach and market access for customers across ASEAN and Europe and will increase the growth of trade and e-commerce fulfillment in key production and consumer markets.

He said, “We look forward to working with Lufthansa Cargo to synergize our efforts in growing this strategic partnership, ”.

Lufthansa Cargo Asia Pacific vice president J. Florian Pfaff said this interline partnership would provide its customers with stable and reliable shipping solutions to the Lufthansa worldwide network.
He said, “We are confident that this partnership will strengthen our market presence in markets where Lufthansa is currently not serving, ”.
