LANGKAWI :

Tour operators have taken a step in the right direction to start the sector in preparation for life post-Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), by implementing a promotional campaign that offers discounted rates and packages through a specific site.

Taman Buaya Langkawi's General Manager, Adam Fuaad said 15 operators of tourist products have so far joined forces to give visitors 70% off on entrance tickets.

In partnership with Mega Water Sports and the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA), Taman Buaya Langkawi has developed http:/www.pulaulangkawi.my/ web site for the search for affordable, exclusive tourist package deals available on the island without the use of agents and middlemen.

"We have included Taman Buaya, Junglewalla Tours, Umgawa Zipline Adventure, Langkawi SkyCab, Tropical Charters, and Mega Water Sports, which are all provided by other participating outlet operators through this platform.

'Reservations from now until next July can be made via the website, and are valid for up to a year,' he said.
