E-Pilah Portal launched to help promote tourism

Multimedia Deputy Minister Eddin Syazlee Shith on Nov 23,  launched a portal called E-Pilah aimed at promoting Kuala  Pilah as a tourist destination.

He said this was because the district had various attractions in terms of food, culture, customs, and tourism.

The portal which will serve as a medium for the residents of Kuala Pilah to get updates around the area will also be filled with stories of history and the success stories of the Kuala Pilah-born children.

"We will bring cultural and historical elements to remember the contributions made by all the fields and children of Kuala Pilah which have been successfully included in this E-Pilah portal so that they can be recognized in politics, science, economy, and others, "he said.

Eddin Syazlee, in his speech at the opening of the program, said the portal would serve as a one-stop center for community activities for the people of Kuala Pilah to sustain and enhance the socio-economic status of the people through business opportunities which will contribute to the country's economic development.

"I believe this portal will also enable human resource development of this area. Together, we can become part of this digital community and keep pace with the current developments, ”he said.
