In order to strengthen business relations between Penang and India, the Network of Indian MICE Agents (NIMA) and the Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) sponsored a networking brunch at SPICE Convention Centre.

India has emerged as a significant market for Penang's business tourism and events. The opportunities and the appeal that Penang has for business tourists from India eventually result in strong ties between the two places.

For Penang's corporate events, India grew to be a very sizable market, providing a substantial portion of the international corporate events industry. In line with Penang2030's goal, NIMA has been collaborating closely with PCEB and will continue to do so in order to make Penang even more accessible and the region's top business destination.
