In an attempt to promote the State as a favorite destination for motorsport lovers the Pahang administrator through Pahang Tourism has forged a partnership with the motoring club Asia Brotherhood Centre (ABC).
State Tourism, Culture, Environment, Plantations, and Commodities, Chairman Datuk Seri, Mohd Sharkar Shamsuddin said the collaboration is also aimed at revitalizing the state economy that has been badly affected by the spread of COVID-19.
“Through this collaboration, ABC will help promote Pahang tourism products which will also be listed in the Malaysia Local Route (MLR) pitstop that serves as a reference for motoring groups as well as tourists such as backpackers.
“Apart from food premises, it (MLR pitstop) will also provide information about handicraft products, homestays, agro-tourism spots as well arts and cultural activities available in Pahang,” he told reporters after witnessing the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Tourism Pahang and ABC.
Pahang Tourism was represented by Datuk Ishak Mokhtar, its General Manager and Abc President Datuk Seri Azmi Razil signed on behalf of the organization.
For the start, Azmi Razil said ABC scheduled a three-day race called the Border Ride in Pahang from 25th December, with 60 riders touring all the Pahang districts.
