Terengganu promotes its tourism services at world trade market 2019

By participating in the 3-day World Trade Market (WTM) 2019 event at the ExCel London Convention Centre, the state government promoted its tourism products and the Visit Malaysia Year 2020 initiative. 5,000 entries have come from 200 countries around the world to promote their exclusive attractions and tourism attractions at WTM 2019, the biggest tourist forum in the world.
 
WTM 2019 was the best platform to introduce the Terengganu in different media and tourism agencies around the world, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar.
 
"When Terengganu took part in the 2019 WTM, we had the chance to promote the unique beauty of our culture, natural wonders, and ecotourism to boost the state tourism industry.
 
"The local people are also very excited to welcome visitors as they are active in the activities of community tourism throughout the country," he said today in a statement
 
Ahmad Samsuri, Chairman of the State Committee of Tourism, Culture and Information Technology, Ariffin Deraman and the industry players attended the Tourism Malaysia pavilion opening ceremony on WTM 2019 on Monday
 
The Kuala Terengganu City Center drawbridge, which recently received a gold award from the Malaysian Tourist Board, was one of the attractions exhibited. Ambassador of tourism Muhamad Kareef Danial Abdullah, better known as Mat Dan, was present at the London meeting.
