SINGAPORE :

To build main travel connections in Singapore by 21 April, Jetstar Asia will operate five return services a week to three destinations in Southeast Asia – Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Manila.

The airline announced that a maximum of 112 seats will be available on each flight, with about 60 percent capacity to ensure a safe distance, as the government in Singapore has introduced safe distancing.

"Only residents and permanent residents who return home, or those with prior written permission for travel, are given access to such facilities," it said in today's statement. Customers can reserve on jetstar.com or through travel agents and business partners.

Apparently, due to border restrictions in the region and the tougher circuit breakers measures enforced, all Jetstar Asia's scheduled services are temporarily suspended until May 19, 2020. Before the suspension, Jetstar Asia operated more than 600 weekly flights from the republic to 24 destinations in 13 Asian Pacific countries and territories.
