ANKARA :

With businesses re-opening in Turkey, including air travel, using new public health initiatives, Anadolu Agency has announced to the top official of the nation's airport on Monday.

According to Huseyin Keskin, Head of the State Airports Authority Directorate (DHMI) on Twitter said, the physical condition will be reorganized in airports to social distancing rules.

Check-in and seating lines will be set up in such a way that distance is facilitated, he said.

"To reduce the density and contact, necessary arrangements will be made in the luggage areas, and sufficient distance will be provided between the luggage tapes," he added.

Keskin said in every operation, from airport entry to departure, the scope of the measures will be extended.

Turkey has worked on all the steps to ensure COVID-19-free airports in the sense of the "new norm" in air travel, he said.
