SABAH:

During the weekend, nearly 20,000 visitors engaged in the fourth edition of the Borneo Coffee Festival.

Dick Lee, chairman of the Borneo Coffee Alliance (BCA), said that they were able to attract more people due to the latte art competition in Asian standards this year.

"We hope to offer our local baristas more possibilities to demonstrate their skills," he said at Suria Sabah, Sunday, after the closing ceremony.

"The average number of visitors a day was estimated at 6,000 to 8,000 during the 3-day event".

"All 65 exhibitors were also pleased with the number of people visiting their stands. Some had even to fill in two or three times a day with their products.
The organizing committee is planning to host the festival next year at a major venue, acknowledging that the number of exhibitors and visitors had risen.

BCA has arranged a wide range of coffee products and services under the Federation of the Sabah Industries (FSI, Borneo Coffee Festival).

Borneo Coffee Festival, with both local and international showmen, is intended to promote the "coffee culture" in society.
