INDIA:

OYO Hotels & Homes forecasts the data-based predictive analysis, India's next destinations which demonstrates the country's potential traveling leisure destinations.

OYO predicts that in October, November, and December 2020, Jaipur, Goa, and Kochi will be India's top leisure destinations.

The report shows that travelers prefer for stays in India, with Goa on top of the list, followed by Digha, a seaside resort city in West Bengal, on 2 October at the horizon. Jaipur, Pondicherry, Agra, Tirupati, and others are also the preference of travelers.

It is important to note that the report shows that during these difficult times the Indians would turn to faith. The trend predicts a rise in demand for the fascinating, sacred cities of India, including Varanasi, Shirdi, and Haridwar.

The data predict that in the last half of the year the majority of the leisure destinations to run the show are within driving distance of major cities such as Delhiites, Jaipur, and Udaipur, Mumbaikars Goa & Shirdi, Bangaloreans Mysore, among others.

In the past couple of months, leisure travel took a backrest for business and critical travel, leaving little room for recovery from the main tourist destinations, given the reality around COVID-19. On the higher hand, but with each opening process and the reopening of states, customers who want to fly in the next three months will enjoy a positive boost.

As per OYO consumer use cases, 56 percent of consumers will travel for leisure, while 43 percent will travel for the company.

“After spending months under lockdown and restrictions easing across the country, consumers are looking forward to stepping out and exploring new destinations, closer to home, and of course with utmost precautions. While intentions to travel are strengthening, our teams at OYO are working round the clock to also strengthen our offerings and our value to the consumer”, said Rohit Kapoor, CEO of India and South Asia.
