Malaysia Airlines invites the world to 'Fly Malaysia' campaign

MALAYSIA:

Malaysia Airlines (MAS) launched its new campaign ‘Fly Malaysia’ at last week’s World Travel Market in London, funding a range of activities to promote the country in key overseas markets and hike up international arrivals.

The carrier said “To run until the end of December 2020, the campaign celebrates “the country’s proud history and reaffirming the airline’s status as a national icon”.

Whilst Malaysian Hospitality remains at the core of its brand promise, Fly Malaysia will heavily promote Malaysia as the preferred destination as the airline will be working closely with Tourism Malaysia. This campaign also works to encourage Malaysians to play a part by participating in the airline’s several social media initiatives in promoting the country. These will run concurrently to numerous social media initiatives, pushing the ‘Fly Malaysia ‘message out to a wider audience.

Izham Ismail, Malaysia Airlines Group CEO said: “We have been flying passengers around the world for over 70 years, and look forward to welcoming many more aboard in 2020 and beyond to experience Malaysia with this campaign,”. The carrier is supporting Tourism Malaysia in an expanded partnership deal for 2020 alongside its cooperation with the Sarawak Tourism Board.
