The Malaysia booth was officiated by H.E. Dato’ Mohd Zamruni bin Khalid, the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Korea. The Malaysian delegation comprises state tourism bodies, airlines and esteemed organisations, namely Sabah and Sarawak Tourism Board, Batik Air, and the National Association of Private Educational Institutions (NAPEI). To further attract visitors, Malaysia will be showcasing special cultural performances and a Malaysian Batik demonstration, a textile art that has motifs that identify the art and culture of Malaysian society.

In anticipation of Visit Malaysia Year 2026, Malaysia will highlight its richness in cultural heritage, breathtaking natural scenery, and contemporary facilities that cater to all types of travellers. Apart from its leisure offerings, Malaysia has evolved as one of the preferred choices for overseas education tourism destinations for South Koreans.”
