MALAYSIA:

Recently, According to a tweet that was posted on Friday night ,The name of Borneo Island on Google was changed to Kalimantan on the request of Indonesia. Since then there is a wave of growing anger amongst Malaysians on Twitter.

Thousands of them have taken to the social media platform condemning Indonesia of changing Borneo Island's name on Google to Kalimantan. They have also alleged that it's an attempt by Indonesia to erase Borneo, as it is known internationally, and replace it with their local name to sabotage the tourism game and recognition.

Apparently, the change in name has also affected other things as well. Now while browsing on google as  "top things to do in Kalimantan” the result shows Mount Kinabalu which is in the state capital of Sabah, Malaysia, and Gunung Mulu National Park in Sarawak, another Malaysian state, as a part of it.
